KLAS HIT Implementation Support and Staffing Segment

Includes projects where HIT products are implemented and application experts, analyst/builders, trainer resources or project leadership are provided (either overall or at project management level), but less than eight consultants are part of the engagement. Firms must have at least three unique core clinical implementation engagements that participate with KLAS in order to show up in this segment without a component [c] designation.

KLAS Technical Services Segment

Includes projects in the following areas: data migration/conversion, interfacing/integration, report writing, system design/build and system testing. System design/build includes programming, database development, web portal design and implementation, hardware and network installations, interim database/network administrators, healthcare analytics technical work (such as installing a data warehouse/data mart), implementing an HIE and setting up a security and privacy infrastructure. System testing includes security testing (such as penetration testing), ICD-10 testing, etc.
