Job Description:
Galen Healthcare Solutions, an RLDatix company, is seeking a seasoned strategic consultant with a specialty in Healthcare Application Portfolio Management and Rationalization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of ITIL processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation and rationalization of the healthcare application portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies for application management and rationalization.
- Develop and implement a plan for retiring outdated systems, ensuring that all necessary data is securely transferred and the transition to data archive is smooth.
- Provide expertise in ITIL processes and their application in the healthcare industry.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Work closely with IT and clinical teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness in all system archival activities.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and balances to ensure the accuracy and consistency of archived data in accordance with retention policies.
- Identify and address any issues or risks associated with system decommissioning and archival.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during all data management activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in application portfolio management and rationalization.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Strong understanding of application portfolio management tools like ServiceNow, Lean IX, Info-Tech, PlanView, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
